Hi! I started here in 2021, while we were still in the middle of a global pandemic. Like many people, I had put on more than a few extra pounds and was pretty unhappy with how I looked and felt. Before coming here I had pretty much no experience with group fitness classes, strength training, and was a novice at anything and everything. I didn’t even know how to do a burpee! The instructors including Zak, helped create a safe, judgment free zone, that I wasn't expecting, while teaching me proper form and technique. More than 2 years later, and over 400 classes, I couldn’t be happier with my progress. A huge thank you to the instructors, front desk, and manager for your continuous help and support. I love this community and this workout. Since I started working out at Basecamp in Edina, I have finally found a place that feels right. Each workout is different and challenging mentally and physically! When you think you’re finally done, then there’s an ab workout! LOL, come to a session and you’ll see what I mean! I highly recommend using your Apple Watch to connect to their virtual community and point tracking system. I love the functional training on the floor and heart rate bump on the bike, it’s a great way to get a 500 calorie workout in 45 minutes while building muscle at the same time. The coaches and staff are so friendly and create such an inclusive atmosphere where anyone will feel like an elite athlete!
