Definitions
Email Gift Card: Dollar Amount
A stored-value credit in a set dollar amount (e.g., $50, $100, $200, $60) sent via email through the Mariana Tek (Xplor Growth) platform. Valid only at the specific Basecamp Fitness studio where purchased.
Email Gift Card: Class Pack
A prepaid package of a fixed number of classes (e.g., 5 classes) sent via email. Redeemable only at the location where purchased and not convertible into a dollar amount.
These Terms & Conditions apply to all Email Gift Card and Class Pack purchases, whether completed online, in-studio, or through any other authorized sales channel.
Redemption
Location Restriction
- Dollar Amount Email Gift Cards – Redeemable only at the specific Basecamp Fitness location where purchased and cannot be redeemed at other Basecamp Fitness studios.
- Class Pack Email Gift Cards – Redeemable only at the location where purchased, but once redeemed, the included class credits may be used at any Basecamp Fitness location in accordance with our reciprocity policy.
- Email Gift Cards cannot be redeemed for cash except where required by law (e.g., balances under $10 in California).
- Redemption codes are case-sensitive and must be entered exactly as provided in the email confirmation.
Pricing & Value
- Dollar Amount Email Gift Cards are value-based and not tied to the price of any specific service.
- Class Pack Email Gift Cards represent a number of visits, not a dollar amount, and have no cash value.
- If service prices change at the issuing location, the number of services covered by the card may change accordingly.
Refunds
- Email Gift Cards are non-refundable except as required by applicable law.
- Refunds, when legally required, will be issued for the original purchase amount, regardless of current pricing at the time of redemption.
Expiration & Unused Balances
- Dollar Amount Email Gift Cards do not expire or incur inactivity fees unless issued as promotional or reward cards (expiration permitted as allowed by law).
- Promotional or reward Email Gift Cards issued for free or as part of a promotional program may carry expiration dates or additional restrictions as permitted by law. These will be disclosed at the time of issuance.
- Basecamp Fitness complies with unclaimed property laws, which may require remitting unused balances to the state after a defined period.
Lost or Stolen Codes
- Lost, stolen, or deleted Email Gift Card codes will be replaced only with proof of purchase and the original code, and only for the remaining balance.
- Basecamp Fitness is not responsible for unauthorized use of a code.
Prohibited Uses
- Email Gift Cards may not be used to purchase other gift cards.
- Email Gift Cards cannot be reloaded.
- Account balances cannot be used toward the purchase of an Email Gift Card.
- Email Gift Cards may not be resold or transferred for value without the express written consent of Basecamp Fitness.
State-Specific Compliance
Basecamp Fitness complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws governing the sale, redemption, and expiration of gift cards. Certain rights, such as cash redemption for small balances or restrictions on expiration dates, may vary based on the state in which the gift card is purchased or redeemed. Where required by law, these rights will apply, and in the event of any conflict between these Terms & Conditions and applicable law, the law will govern to the extent of the inconsistency.
Corporate Authority
Only Basecamp Fitness corporate may modify these Terms & Conditions. Franchisees are not authorized to alter, omit, or add to these terms.
Agreement to Terms
Purchase or redemption of an Email Gift Card constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions. Basecamp Fitness reserves the right to update these terms at any time as required by law. Purchase or use of the card is deemed acceptance of the Terms & Conditions, whether or not the purchaser or recipient explicitly acknowledges them.
